About Bahar

Hello! My name is Bahar and I’m best known as Izza and Elaia’s mama. I’m married to my best friend and soul mate, Sekander. We live in sunny Bay Area, California. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I was a full-time event planner and wedding decorator. After having Izza and finding out she was born with Down syndrome I decided to change career paths and follow my heart into the field of education. I am currently in the process of becoming Montessori certified in ages 2.5-6 years old. In addition, this fall I will begin my Waldorf education for early childhood as well! I decided to start blogging as a way to journal, connect with other moms, advocate for Down syndrome, share what is working for me, and to give valuable information.
